 The
hydrosols listed below
are distilled
in stainless steel cookers and processed
through certified organic methods. They are
quality control supervised from cultivation
to distillation by Mountain Rose Herbs.Flower waters
also known as hydrosols, hydrolats,
hydroflorates or distillates are products
from the direct steam distillation of whole
plant materials. True steam distilled
hydrosols contain all the beneficial
components that whole plant materials have
to offer, and are true to their scent. Each
hydrolat contains similar properties to the
essential oils also derived from their
mutual plant but in less concentration. This
makes hydrolats a perfect alternative for
those with sensitive skin and for children.
They are
aromatic, moisturizing, and cooling.
Hydrolats work well as facial splashes or
toners, freshen the air and absorption into
the skin in saunas, as skin deodorants,
mixed into oil for massage, and for culinary
creations.
Each of our 4 oz
hydrosols is packaged in an amber bottle
with a black mister. The bulk 8 oz, 16 oz
ounce and 1 gallon waters are packaged in
HDPE plastic bottles.
Manufactured by Mountain Rose Inc., unless
otherwise noted. Store in a location that is
from direct sunlight, cool and stable in
temperature. We recommend placing them on a
door shelf in your refrigerator.

Wildharvested -
Items gathered from their natural
environment, such as woodlands, prairies,
deserts etc. All wildharvested items are
taken to separate facilities for further
processing. All wildharvested items gathered
and contracted for Mountain Rose Herbs must
sign a preliminary "Wild Take Audit" to
insure that materials are sustainably
gathered with a no more than 10% take, and
that the plants are re-seeded or roots are
left to re-stock native populations. |
